Poetry

I AM

It is a sound that is mind
every day we hear a voice
it's all that is speech
it is all that is language.
It is the image,
it is the talker,
it is the knower,
'cos one alone is not GOD
but that ONE
it is light that reflects itself as ignorance
that which causes motion
and there is no comprehension
I will tell you again and again
that "I AM" cos We Are
and we are 'cos "I AM" .......RASTAFARI!
wonderful and dreadful.

UNITY

beyond the horizons
of cogitation
Afrika acknowledges
the death of her conditions
defenceless BUT optimistic
as humanly as possible
SHE always cries
UNITY!
